One of the many new additions to the1.0 version of Sons of the Forestis the Glider Launcher. With a mechanism that may or may not defy the laws of gravity and physics, this mechanism will throw you high into the air, allowing you to traverse large areas with the help of your Glider. Think of it like the Skyview Towers of Tears of the Kingdom, although less powerful and craftable. To build these launchers you will have to collect its blueprint, which you’re able to find justeast of the Entertainment Bunker, located at the northwest portion of the map, inside a cave.
How to craft and use the Glider Launcher in Sons of the Forest
While there is a cannibal camp nearby, the actual cave is pretty much free of any enemies. You can head inside and you will find nothing between you and your prize. Head onwards and through all the body parts and bones and you will find the Glider Launcher blueprint. Using it, you will now be able to craft the Glider Launcher, but you will need to collect the following parts to build it:
Once built, the turtle shells will act like a spring. As soon as you step on it,you will be launched into the air. To jump again, interact with the turtles to ready up the Glider Launcher for another launch.

Don’t ask me how four turtle shells will launch you into the skies. After all, this is a video game with both cannibals and mutants, so the idea of a Glider Launcher isn’t as hard to believe as it should be.
