Defeat The Blade Phantom: Keshta the Unyielding
You’ll findKeshta the Unyieldingin theStorm Passon an alternative route that you can choose while in theCrevice. UnlikeBlade Phantom,you can bring in aspirit summonwith you. Aside from adeeper health pool,Keshta only has one phaseand, once defeated, will joinKhazanas a selectablephantomat any of theblade checkpointsor upgraded at theCrevicebyDaphrona.KeshtaprovidesKhazanwith a buff to stamina recovery and, when awakened, willincrease the stamina recovery rate by 30%upon exhausting all stamina as well asrestoring 15% of staminawhen an enemy is exhausted.

Compared toViper,Volbainohas a simpler playstyle and moveset,favoring hisax and chisel,giving more flexibility to playstyle as any weapon will work well in this fight compared to previous fights.Volbainowill open his fight with atwo-hit hammer attack.Watch for hiswind-upas he will take a few seconds before the first few hits. Taking out ajavelinwill baitVolbainointo coming closer to performing either atwo-hit attackor afour-hit combo, utilizingBrink Guardas needed to deflect the onslaught. Use primarilycharged attackstoexhaust Volbainoand incorporateWater Enhancerinto yourweapon of choice. If you have the appropriate accessories and armor equipped, you shouldn’t be building up anyfire damageduring the fight, but just in case, use afire resistance potionwhileVolbainohas hischiselin the ground where you’ll have a few free seconds.
OnceVolbainois down tohalf his health, he willrun towards the second floor, follow him up andstay in the middle of the ladderand wait for him to jump down. His jump causes a large AOE and by staying on the ladder, you’llavoid the brunt of the attack.Climb the rest of the way up andchip away some damagefromVolbainowhen he attempts to follow you. The fight repeats the similar steps asPhase 1with a few small changes. While you are up on thesecond floor,wait forVolbainotolick the nail.Once he does so, run to theladderandjumpback down to thefirst floor.Volbainowillslam the nailinto the groundand cause anunavoidable fire AOEon the floor he iscurrently on. By having him do this on thesecond floor, you’ll be able to use thefirst floor withmore space to maneuver. Continue to bait out thenail diveswithBrink Dodgeand deplete the rest ofVolbainos' health to defeat the boss.
