While the past is the past and does not change, museums cannot afford to be as static as their subject matter. Even fans of historywilleventually get tired of seeing the same exhibits, so successful museums must do their best to offer new exhibits to hold the attention of their visitors. The same is true inTwo Point Museumbut no need to worry, virtual curators; its first DLC, “Fantasy Finds,” will arrive to fill out those empty halls on July 17.

Two Point Museum: 8 Tips and Tricks We Wish We Knew Sooner

Want to maximize your museum’s buzz and keep those donations flowing? Struggling with staffing issues? These Two Point Museum tips are for you.

Two Point Museum curators won’t be able to just grab these new finds from a shop screen, however. After all,the citizens of Two Point Countyexpect authenticity from their museums, so curators will first need to comb the new fantasy-themed expedition map and make the discoveries themselves before they can display any of the Fantasy Finds DLC’s forty new exhibits. Going out and finding artefacts like the Teanie Kettle, Flying Carpet or Novel Wardrobe will most certainly be of great benefit to any museum and its visitors, but only if they’re handled well.

It may belong in a museum, but someone has to find it first.

As should be no surprise by now to anyone familiar withthe Two Point series,it takes fantasy characters to discover Fantasy Finds artifacts. Depending on the kinds of antiquities they want to find, players can hire “fantasy experts” from classes such as Barbarian, Rogue, Wizard and Bard. Each has different stats, so players will need to take care to put together teams with the right combined stats in order to successfully uncover new finds.

Acquiring fantasy treasure is, according to most stories, not an easy feat, and the same holds true at the expedition sites of Fantasy Finds. Some of these sites might just require high levels of luck and intelligence to pick locked doors and find shortcuts. Others, however, could be guarded by powerful creatureslike dragons, meaning the party won’t have a chance without enough strength or dexterity.

If a dragon is guarding it, you know it’s a treasure that visitors would flock to see, right?

It seems that getting the treasures home to the museum will only be the first step, though. Magical artifacts are nothing if not temperamental. With proper care and protection, they can actually provide blessings to the museum and its visitors. However, neglecting their exhibits or allowing guests to be too rowdy with them could easily turn those blessings intocurses. So curators should make sure that their museums are prepared to handle fantastical objects before actually going out and getting them.

Allowing guests to be too rowdy with the artefacts could easily turn blessings into curses.

Part of making a museum artifact-ready is acquiring pieces of Mythical Gear, which grant various protections over nearby exhibits or buffs to staff. There are also new banners, wallpapers, floors, interactive displays, and 26 new decorations and utility items to help dress up these new exhibits and keep them in proper, non-cursing condition.
