Google officially unveiled the Pixel 10 Pro Fold at its Made by Google Pixel launch event, joining the rest of the Pixel 10 series – including thePixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL. The tech giant had already released ateaser videoof the phone’s design last week, followingmonths of leaks, so there was little left to surprise about the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
Most of the updates Google made to the Pixel 10 Pro Fold this year are under the hood, with its new Tensor G5 chipset standing out, along with Qi2 charging support, thanks to the addition of a magnet in the phone. That’s right, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is the first foldable phone to sfeature Qi2 magnetic charging. To support this, Google is launching its own line of magnetic accessories called Pixelsnap for all Pixel 10 devices – a clear rival to Apple’sMagSafe.

From a design perspective, you might find it hard to differentiate the Pixel 10 Pro Fold from thePixel 9 Pro Fold. Don’t worry, you’re not alone – both phones look quite similar. The main design change Google has made this year is a slight increase in the outer display size, now measuring 6.4-inches (up from the Pixel 9 Pro Fold’s 6.3-inch outer display), along with two new colors called moonstone (light gray) and jade (light green).
With all that in mind, the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold starts at $1,800 ($2,400 CAD) and is available for pre-order now, with an October 9 release date. Thankfully, there is no price increase compared to last year. You can check out the full specs for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold below.
