The Morning Showseason three is just around the corner. Apple TV+ hit series has already been renewed for a fourth installment, but first there are a lot of questions to answer after the end of season two, which aired in the second half of 2021. Almost two years later, the show is back with Bradley Jackson and Alex Levy competing harder than ever with each other.

The streaming platform released thefirst official teaser trailerfor the new episodes ofThe Morning Showthis Thursday, anticipating new challenges for Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon’s characters:

First season ofThe Morning Showstarted with Alex and the rest of the crew from the popular news program finding out their co-worker and main star of the show Mitch Kessler, played by Steve Carell have been accused of sexual misconduct. The plot centered around how the whole network and everyone involved in it dealt with the aftermath of the accusations, and the arrival of a new host to joinJennifer Aniston’s Alex Levy.

In season two, things get worse with the pandemic, Bradley dealing with personal problems and a love story she’s not ready to admit, and Alex trying to get in touch with Mitch, who ends up killing himself. But season three won’t slow things down and chaos is about to be unleashed.

What to Expect from Season 3 of The Morning Show

After Alex contracted COVID at the end of season two, she was stocked at home from where she appeared on air, with a very different and strong attitude which will certainly be a hard thing to deal with in season three. Bradley, on the other hand, is caught in the middle of her relationship with Laura (Juliana Margulies) and Cory’s (Billy Cudrop) recent declaration of his feelings for her. All of these while dealing with her problematic family.

After the streaming platform failure, UBA will have to face its own issues, with a tech mogul interested in buying the company, which could mean many changes for the network’s future, people losing their jobs, and way more complications.

Here’s the official synopsis for season three:

“This season, the future of the network is thrown into question and loyalties are pushed to the brink when a tech titan takes an interest in UBA. Unexpected alliances form, private truths are weaponized and everyone is forced to confront their core values both in and out of the newsroom.”

JoiningReese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston, Billy Cudrop and Juliana Margulies will be returning stars Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Greta Lee, Karen Pittman and Ruairi O’Connor. There will of course also be some new faces joining the team: Jon Hamm, Nichle Beharie, Tig Notaro, Natalie Morales, Clive Standen, Alano Miller, and Lindsay Duncan.

The Morning Showis produced by Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, along with Mimi Leder. The team behind the series is lead by Charlotte Stoudt, who acts both as a showrunner and executive producer. Season three ofThe Morning Showrealeses on September 13.
