T-Pain fans convinced he’s quitting music after cryptic post

Rapper T-Pain appears to be considering a retirement from music, according to a cryptic post made on his X account.

Although he started making music back in the 90s,T-Paindidn’t sign to a record label until 2005, a year after releasing his first mixtape as an indie artist.

Since then, his heavily autotuned hits like Buy u a Drank, Bartender, and more have become some of his most-streamed songs on Spotify.

The rapper has since switched to making music with his more natural voice, but a cryptic post on X has fans certain he’s considering retiring from the industry.

T-Pain teases potential retirement from music

“I gave you all everything for 20 years. I’m grateful to each of you for making this such a great ride. Right now, I just need some time to think about what’s next and what’s best for me,” he said in the post alongside a video.

In the video, you can see clips of his Grammy awards and other music-focused items.

Fans flocked to the comments to share their thoughts about the cryptic post, with many worrying that T-Pain is about to retire from music.

“Incredible 20-year career. Glad I had the chance to rock with ya a few times! Excited to see what’s next,” one user commented.

Another said: “You deserve a break. And if this is really it, thanks for everything.”

Others, however, mentioned that they think he’s getting ready to announce something bigger, like a Super Bowl show.

His video makes it clear that he hasn’t made the decision just yet, but regardless, it’s safe to say he won’t back away from the internet and other things anytime soon.

The rapper has continued to build his talents as a drifter, racing custom cars like his recently revealedpink convertible Mustang.

T-Pain has been streaming on Twitch to thousands of viewers since 2017, and boasts a following of over a million people at the time of writing.

Back in February, he even had a brief collab with Kai Cenat afterpranking the internet star in a viral airport meeting.
