James Gunn’s new DC vision has launched after casting new actors for DC roles replacing the previous casts. Gunn’s own movie,Superman: Legacyhas got a set of new cast before rolling the movie to production.

At this point, it is hard to imagine the DC co-CEO’s game plan to rebuild the DC Universe after major setbacks following the failure of a series of movies which includes the most recent, Ezra Miller’sThe Flash. But Gunn is certainly all in for a newer version of DC with new faces.

Reflecting on the new casts, industry expert Grace Randolph, however, showed some concern.“This is not inspired casting, and seems like an old school B (or C) level superhero movie – but the movie could still be good,”Randolph wrote on Twitter.

But Gunn appears to be keen on launching a completely new DC universe with new casts and several unexplored characters and stories in cinematic form. The studio is in full swing bringing new casts onboard. Earlier,The FlashdirectorAndrés Muschietti was confirmed to direct the newBatmanmovie,The Brave and the Bold. While revealing plans for DC, Gunn earlier said that they were in the process of groundwork,“We sat down in a room for a few days and we started to bash out what the basic overall plan could be.”
“Not so much that it ties your wrists, but enough that we know what the basic story is, where we’re going. And it’s something that we’ll continue to do.”

Evidently, Gunn and Peter Safran may beset to bring a brand-new DC Universe. Of course,The Flashwas not a movie that was planned or shot during their tenure, so, it would be too early to judge the duo based on the performance ofEzra Miller’smovie.
