Davidson is best known for his role inSaturday Night Livesince 2014, and will next be seen in the upcoming DC movie,The Suicide Squad. This new pairing comes after Cuoco recently signed an expansive deal with her production company Yes, Norman, extending her 15 year relationship with the studio.Meet Cute, directed by Alex Lehmann, seems to focus on the idea of what a person would do if given the opportunity to delve into the history and minds of their significant other, allowing them to iron out all their creases, fix each flaw, and change them forever.
With Kaley Cuoco set to star as Sheila, andPete Davidsonas Gary, the project looks like a tantalizing prospect, based upon an interesting concept, with Noga Pnueli serving as the writer. Akiva Goldsman, Gregory Lessans, and Rachel Reznick of Weed Road Pictures will produce alongside Santosh Govindaraju and Dan Reardon of Convergent Media.
