The mystery game Pentiment being developed byObsidian Entertainmentis heading to PC and Xbox on November 15th. It will also be coming to both PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass on release.
The roleplaying game is a narrative-driven title following Andreas Maler a journeyman artist in 16th century Bavaria, who gets ropes into finding out who is the killer of his mentor, among solving other mysteries. The artstyle is also pretty unique, inspired by manuscripts and woodcut prints, with a narrative derived from history itself.
When the game wasfirst announced, we learnt while you get to solve the crime using your own detective choices, it’s up to you to decide who is guilty or who you believe deserves the punishment, which may not necessarily be the same person.
