Well, your wish has finally come true, as the latest look at the upcomingPrime Videoanthology series,Secret Level, gives us just that. While much of the detail regarding the mysterious episode remains under wraps, this latest footage reveals that the Pac-Man episode will follow a lone, alien warrior as they make their way across dangerous terrain, avoiding all manner of monsters and other deadly threats. So, where does Pac-Man come into play? Well, he will reportedly be named Puck, based on the icon’s original moniker, Puck-Man, and is a small orb that helps guide our mysterious hero.

This unique take on the video game characterhas previously been explainedby executive producer and writer JT Petty, who describes the episode, reportedly titled Circle, as “Blood MeridianPac-Man” after Cormac McCarthy’s acclaimed novel.

Honestly, it was acknowledging that Pac-Man is the Beowulf of narrative gaming. It’s the Er text at the center of characters being in video games and trying to take that seriously. If this is a world entirely driven by hideous appetite, how does that work?”
