Square Enix and Platinum Games have revealed the Japanese box art forNier: Automataas well as the pre-order bonus for the Japanese Playstation Store.
The box art features the main playablecharactersin the Action RPG,Yorha 2B,Yorha 9SandYorha A2, in dramatic pose, giving the cover an appropriate apocalyptic feel.

Japanese Playstation Store purchases will also net you the very cool “game machine” pod skin which allows you to change the appearance of your pod to the classic original Playstation console.Podsare support machines that will follow the characters around, providing long range attack support as well as movement support for the players. Players can hang from them, glide around the environment and use them to reach heights. If you have fond memories of the original Playstation and are Japanese inclined this could be just the thing for you.
Nier: Automata releases February 23rd, 2017 on PS4 in Japan. The game is set to release on PS4 and PC for the west sometime early 2017 as well, and it’s possible the pre-order bonuses will be similar. Those in the west can hope!
