Capcom’s Monster Hunter World Iceborne gets its final free update this October, adding fan-favourite Fatalis.
Monster Hunter World Iceborne Adds Fatalis in Final Free Update
Monster Hunter World Iceborne will be getting a final free update thisOctober 1st, adding the dragon Fatalis who has takenCastle Schradeas its home. It was announced during the developer diary this week.
In the last update, players will meetFatalisupon completing the story of Iceborne and finishing the Alatreon investigation. This update doesn’t just add a new battle, but features story content with new characters such as the General from the Guild and the familiar face theExcitable A-Lister.

Engaging in battle with the dragon will pit players against the Dragonator with the use cannons and ballistae. This foe first appeared in the original Monster Hunter title for PS2 back in 2004.
Once Fatalis has been defeated, players will be able to craft weapon and armors from the materials gained, as well as new Palico Equipment Fatalis Set α+, which turns your Palico in a miniature dragon. This look comes complete with a small hunter doll clenched in its mini claws, used as a weapon.

The update also brings thearch-temperedVelkhana, a Clutch Boost skill which allows players to wound enemies more easily plus the Autumn Harvest and Fun Fright Fests which will take place from October 16th to November 5th. MR layered armor will also be coming to the game, but will not be obtainable until certain events take place.
