Logan Paul says Egypt banned him from visiting to film MrBeast’s pyramids video

YouTube star turned WWE heel Logan Paul claims that Egypt barred him from entering the country — and would even ban MrBeast from filming in the pyramids if he came along.

On August 11, 2025, Jimmy ‘MrBeast‘ Donaldson uploaded one of his biggest videos yet, where he and his buddies explored the Egyptian pyramids for 100 hours.

Logan Paul is pictured over a background of the pyramids.

Egypt banned Logan Paul from entering to film MrBeast video

As fans will know, MrBeast’s pyramid video did not feature Paul, who said he was keen on getting to visit Egypt and see the pyramids for himself. He’s also been featured in several of Donaldson’s past videos, and was under the impression that he’d be able to join.

However, Paul claimed that the Egyptian government wouldn’t let him in to film, as told in a vlog on February 19.

“MrBeast just uploaded a new video exploring the pyramids or something, and I love the pyramids, so I was like, ‘Jimmy, can I come?’ And he’s like, ‘For sure, dude,'” Logan began.

“And then a week later he calls me and he’s like, ‘Dude, unfortunately, the Egyptian government said that you can’t come, otherwise we can’t come.’ And I was like, ‘Wait, what?’

“I know I piss people off, but the Egyptian government? I’ve never even been to Egypt! Why can’t I come to the pyramids, Jimmy? And he said, ‘I don’t know, the government specifically said you are the only person who cannot come on this trip.'”

While Logan joked that the video was “tanking” anyway, it’s since garnered over 125 million views in the week since it was posted, marking just one of many accomplishments for MrBeast’s career as of late.

Egypt isn’t the only country Logan Paul has had trouble with; although the YouTuber infamously earned worldwide backlash for hisactions in Japan’s Aokigahara Forestin 2017, he claims thegovernment hasn’t banned himfrom visiting.
