Trickster is the most unique class I’ve ever played in any RPG. If you’re eager to main Trickster, then you need to know how to unlock it inDragon’s Dogma 2.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 Trickster: How to unlock and equip

The Trickster Vocation in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is found abouthalfway through the game. Just like withMystic Spearhand, you get Trickster by talking to a character. The character for Trickster isLuzand she’s found inthe Reverent Shrineon the east side of the map betweenCheckpoint Town and Bakbattahl.

The Reverent Shrine is a small outpost, but it’s hard to miss. It’s a beautiful building that looms high above the desert flora and fauna. Walk inside and talk to Luz. When you leave the conversation, youunlock Trickster.

How to equip and use Trickster in Dragon’s Dogma 2

You’re far enough into the game to knowhow to change Vocationsin Dragon’s Dogma 2. To equip the Trickster Vocation,go to an Inn or Vocation Guild, spend DCP to unlock it, and then select Trickster.

In my opinion, Trickster isthe hardest and weakest Vocationin Dragon’s Dogma 2. It’s undoubtedly cool and different, but it’s not super effective. It’s best used against groups of enemies but isn’t great in boss battles and when all your allies are dead.

Since Trickster can’t deal any damage, they only haveone combat mechanic. Summon a Simulacrum which will be targeted by enemies, pull it back to you right before they strike it, and, while the enemy is recovering from its swing, attach the Simulacrum to them. All nearby enemies will focus their attacks on their ally.

Rinse and repeat this process until you win. I bet you can see why this wouldn’t work on bosses or if your party members are dead. As long as you havethe best Pawn Vocations, you’re set tobecome a great Trickster.
