Many of the unique weapons we teach you how to find prove relatively straightforward. You complete a specific quest, visit a particular vendor, and Bob’s your uncle. But with the Avatar, it’s a tad more challenging to score. You must complete the entire campaign, start a New Game +, and let lady luck wash over you. Here’s how to get Avatar in Starfield!

Where to Get Avatar in Starfield

To get Avatar in Starfield, you’ll need to complete all of the primary story missions in the game, then choose to enter New Game+, allowing the Starborn Vendor to spawn randomly.Unfortunately, her location is entirely random. Each encounter occurs in a different star system, floating above a planet or moon, and she only shows up occasionally. For example, I’ve stumbled across her once in my 100 hours of gameplay.

If she does spawn for you, expect to pay a staggering 66,993 credits for Avatar. It’s an exclusive, powerful rifle that we should all covet!

Avatar Stats and Details

If you can afford Avatar, then congratulations are in order. As you can see from its stats, the baseline damage is already extremely high. It’s a rare rifle, essentially a sniper rifle, that deals physical and elemental damage with almost every hit. The only downside here is its size, 13.60 mass, and low fire rate. But hey, if you land every shot, it’s likely a one-hit-kill for most enemies. You don’t need a fast follow-up shot.

If you can look past the slow rate of fire, small magazine capacity, and overall size, Avatar is easily one of the best rifles in Starfield. It’s mighty, though rare, and capable of taking you well into another New Game+. For more information on rare weapons, check out our guide onhow to get Hunterwulf in Starfield.
