Earning Dosh Through Quests
The fastest way to earn Dosh, especially at the start of the game, is throughcompleting quests and fulfilling requests. Requests are available when you spot a character that has a thought bubble over their head with an image of a person. These also tend to be faster and easier to complete compared to your standard quests, since a lot of them are requests that ask you to gather a handful of a certain item, like Chicken Eggs, or ask you to kill a number of specific enemies. Just like your main quests, you can track the objectives for requests, making it easy to find the location where you can complete them.
Selling Items for Dosh
Additionally, you can earn Dosh bygathering items and selling them. This earns you far less Dosh than requests do, but if you’re grabbing items from the ground and harvesting items that you pass, then you’ll likely accumulate extra resources you don’t need while you complete other tasks. In that case, you can head to any vendor, pick the “Sell” option, then select the items you want to sell and how many of each one you’re selling.
If you need to earn a lot of Dosh quickly, then you want to work on requests. However, it’s worth taking the few moments required to pick up some herbs from the ground, mine a mineral deposit, or chop down a tree for resources to sell the next time you come across a vendor. It isn’t much, but it definitely adds up while playing Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time.
