The “Intern” species is a recognizable face from Dead Cells and is available from launch till July 20, 2025. It’s the only timed content as far as we can tell and is essentially paired with the launch discount that runs out on June 27, 2025. The developers have confirmed in their roadmap that more skins are on the way in future updates.

Windblown’s progression format is quite similar to Dead Cells so far, and we’re interested in seeing how they evolve character customization over time.

Ali has been writing about video games for the past six years and is always on the lookout for the next indie game to obsess over and recommend to everyone in sight. When he isn’t spending an unhealthy amount of time in Slay the Spire, he’s probably trying out yet another retro-shooter or playing Dark Souls for the 50th time.
