5 Ways Happy Gilmore Still Holds Up (And 4 Ways it Doesn’t)
Happy Gilmore is a classic Adam Sandler comedy film that once seemed timeless. However, things have changed so much that not all of it still holds up.
While Sandler has been confirmed to return, it has not yet been revealed whether original cast members Christopher McDonald and Julie Bowen will join him. However, considering thatthe former has been very vocalon social media about once again doing battle with Sandler, while the latter reunited with Sandler for 2018’sHubie Halloween, there is hope that they too will be brought back for the sequel. Sadly, several beloved members of theHappy Gilmorecast have since passed away, includingThe Price is Righthost Bob Barker, Carl Weathers, and Joe Flaherty. Sandler, though, has promised thatHappy Gilmore 2will pay tributeto all of them, with the actor saying, “somehow they’ll be involved.”
