The next expansion forElder Scrolls Online,Elsweyr was confirmed today in a livestream on the Bethesda Twitch channel. The latest expansion will release on PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One on June 4th.
ESO Elsweyr to Release on June 4th
The next chapter forElder Scrolls Onlinewas announced during the livestream held on the Bethesda Twitch channel. The Creative Director Rich Lambert outlined some of the features that would be coming withElsweyr. While news of the name of the expansion and a new Necromancy class had been discovered bydataminers this month, the stream also covered what players can expect with the next chapter.
The Season of the Dragon
Lambert shared that this year is theSeason of the Dragonwhich was also the title of the stream. The roadmap for this year’s content includes four updates that all revolve aroundElsweyr.
Usually ESO will release a new chapter which is a standalone storyline, but this year spotlights four parts that come together for a year long adventure.
ESO: Elsweyr
This latest chapter introduces Dragons back into Tamriel, awoken byAbnur Tharn’s doing as well as queen Euraxia. The dragon Kaalgrontiid will bring a new threat to the home of the Khajiit. Discover the ancestral birthplace of theKhajiit, their ways, their culture and their history. Help them defend their land against the merciless attack of the dragon.
Necromancer Class
A new class comes to ESO in the form of theNecromancer, the class that dabbles in powerful spells that raise the dead and cast elemental spells. This class uses death as it’s weapon.
Pre-Orders
Those who pre-order Elsweyr will gain some bonuses including Noble Clan Chief Costume, Blue Dragon Imp pet, Treasure Maps, a Baandari Pedlar Crown Crate and Experience Scrolls. Digital pre-purchases will grant players the Rahd-m’Athra mount.
