Below are the steps for completing the “Demigod of the Wind and Sun” quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley:
Talk to Maui to begin the mission. After he talks about his accomplishments with bringing coconuts to the Valley, he’ll come up with another idea to bring kites to the Valley. He’ll request your help to find the following crafting resources:

Once you have both items, the next quest step asks you to make three Kites. Go back to your crafting station and select theFunctional Itemstab to find the option. Using your Dark Ink, Fiber and Softwood, make each one before finding Maui again. Talk to him to progress to the next section of the quest!
After you craft all three kites and speak to Maui again, he’ll ask you to give them to Merlin, Goofy, and WALL-E. Once you make each delivery and hear their expressions of gratitude, return to Maui once more to hear about his discovery of a new island! Go to the island east of Dazzle Beach and speak to Maui to hear more about this missing island.

It’s time to go fishing for the final part of the quest! More specifically, you’ll have to find the nearby orange fishing spot and fish out some Limestone before telling Maui about it. Once you give him the Limestone, he’ll think about it some more and tell you about it in future quests.
