InDarkwood, you scavenge and explore an ever changing free-roam world by day before taking shelter during the night where terrifying monsters await you. The game harkens back to the old days, the days where there were no quest markers, you had to find your way, and the difficulty was brutal.
Breaking downDarkwoodfurther, it has a resource management system, and you must constantly scavenge for new resources to improve your survival chances. The world has random generation, so every playthrough will be an entirely different experience. Make sure not to stray too far from the light, though, as horrifying monsters await in the night.
