Whether you’re playing Dragon Age Inquisition for the first time, or jumping back in before the release of Veilfire, it’s good to know the best quest order.
Of course, you can go in blindly and feel your way around, but sometimes the freedom can seem overwhelming. Here are our recommendations for the best quests and areas to explore and in what order.

Dragon Age Inquisition: Best quest and area order
Alongside the main quest, DAI has side quests and things to complete in specific regions. These different regions can also have certain level requirements, so you want to verify you’re at the right level before entering a new area.
Let’s go over the best quest order in Dragon Age Inquisition.
When is the best time to complete the DAI DLC?
In regards to the three DLC packs, they don’t have any specific level requirements. That said, there is still a preferred way of completing these quests. While you canplay Jaws of Hakkon and The Descent really in any order, you should definitely save Trespasser till the end, since it’s known to be the final “quest” you complete. We do recommend that you’re at least level 20, as this DLC can be a pain to finish under-leveled.
Dragon Age Inquisition is available onSteam, EA, PlayStation 3/4, and Xbox 360/One.
