Aside from standard damage and hit applications, weapons can also have multiple effects that include passive and active abilities. Below are the different weapon types available in-game:
Weapon Purification
Often, weapons can be purified in an effort to increase their stats and ultimately change the weapon into a significantly better one. Weapons can be purified at a church, andSt. Fermis Churchwill prove to be a central locale for this. to even begin purification, however, you must increase yourWisdom stats to “Informed.“You will also have to obtainBlessed Water.

Crystal Axe
Flying Anchor Axe
Hunter’s Hatchet
Burning Axe
Normal attacks inflict Burn.
Beastkiller’s Wrath
Increases damage against beast-type monsters.
Destroyer’s Edge
Can be purified at a church.
Flamekiss Axe
Normal attacks become Fire affinity.
Frostbite Axe
Normal attacks become Ice affinity.
Murderer’s Axe
Normal attacks inflict Hex.
Annihilator King’s Axe
Damage increases for attacks that ignore resistance, Increases damage when breaking through resistance. Increases Evasion against Slash, Pierce, and Strike.
Axe of the Old God
Significantly increases Strike attack strength.
Edge of Calamity
Increases Strike attack strength.
