In case you were feeling like Honkai: Star Rail still lacked more healing power, Lynx is here to solve your problems. The youngest sibling of the Landau family, this introverted girl is a newcomer in the 1.3 update for the game, and you’ll definitely want to give her all of the required Ascension Materials as soon as possible since she’s more useful than you might think.
All Required Ascension Materials for Lynx in Honkai: Star Rail
Serving as the first 4-star Abundance Quantum character, Lynx requires fewer materials than a 5-star. But just because you’re having an easier time it doesn’t mean that it will be easy. Get ready for some grinding.
Ascension Materials
Lynx’s boss is theStagnant Shadow: Shape of Abomination, found in the Scalegorge Waterscape after completing the relevant Trailblaze Missions. You’ll have to bring this ape down at least ten times before getting enough materials for her, so save for Power for that.

Core items are way easier, as you might already have enough of them from Expeditions. If you don’t, Fragmentum monsters found mostly in Jarilo-VI will drop you some of these, so just beat a few of them in the icy plains if you have to.
Trace Materials
Farming for a Trace Calyx is also easier for a 4-star, but it’s still the same tedious routine. Don’t shy away from buying some Seeds of Abundance and its evolutions from the Embers Exchange shop if you feel like it because the bad drop rates can get really annoying after a while.
Aside from all that, you’ll still need to go and beat upPhantyliaa couple of times to level up her Traces, as it has been the case with most recent characters. Lynx herself has an AoE cleanse that can be very helpful in the fight, despite Phantylia not being directly weak to Quantum.
It will definitely be tiring, especially if you already did a similar job for Fu Xuan in this patch, but once you can get Lynx all built up and properly leveled, she’ll be an invaluable healer in your arsenal, especially if you’re dreaming about mono-Quantum teams, which she can make a reality.
