Although Glorfindel never made it to the live-action movies and the series, his character is one who is regarded as one of the mightiest elves of Middle-Earth. The glory in his name and work can very easily be portrayed by Henry Cavill. Once again, his love for the franchise and his work as the titular character in Netflix’s series has proven that perhaps those long white locks can have a famous face to them as well.
Éomer was played by Karl Urban for as long as fans can remember. The actor has a knack for making roles iconic in his own way. Whether it is Billy Butcher or the leader of the Riders of Rohan. However, another person who could play the character as another version of him could be Henry Cavill. No matter how big or small a character may be, once you leave a mark, it stays.

Henry Cavill has shown the world that he can play an antagonist just as well as he can play the protagonist. To see him try and rule all of Middle-earth would be an entirely new and enlightening experience.

Viggo Mortensen did an incredible job playing Aragorn. However, an ongoing demand of the fans has been to see Henry Cavill also take up the lead role. The character’s casting might have become irreplaceable and it would be a difficult task to see him outside of Mortensen. However, if there was one actor who could bring the same charm to the Ranger of the North, it would be Cavill.
